KYBOE! At New York Fashion Week

Hello, New York City!

I was recently invited to my very first event as a blogger – The KYBOE!  Fashion Week Show. Not only was this my first event with KYBOE, but it was my first time attending New York Fashion Week. The city was definitely prepped and so was I!

If you are not familiar with KYBOE!, it is a fashionable brand of watches from the Netherlands that is sold worldwide at stores including Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. Their company message: KYBOE! watches are the biggest and boldest on the planet, offering creative and stylish designs inspired by the vibrant and colorful tulip fields of the Netherlands. It’s no wonder they have such beautiful colors and designs.

A lot of people wonder: “how do I pronounce this?” That is because it’s a Dutch pronunciation and most twist it around! Pronounce it as (kiboo) to get it right.

NYFW: The Shows entrance at Moynihan Station was packed with attendees when I first arrived. KYBOE! was set to begin at 1 o’clock. They had the seats lined with KYBOE! foam fingers and watch catalogs. The variety of colors really made a big difference in overall appeal of the venue. The vibrancy and music being played started the show off with an upbeat energy you couldn’t resist.

It was hard to take pictures inside because of lighting and because I was attentively watching the show. They had a unique ‘accessories runway’ around which watches were placed on plastic hands and feet. Outside of the belt, both male and female models were modeling the watches in simple, stylish attire. The silk dresses some of the female models had on were beautiful and complemented the watches perfectly.

KYBOE! definitely has it’s own brand image different from many others I have seen before. They have a lot of character and included a lot of humor in their show from the foam fingers to the hand placement and models posing. The brand will be huge in no time here in the states and, in my opinion, will attract the millennial crowd. JUST WATCH! 😉

I could not be more pleased with my experience at the show. All of the influential bloggers, celebrities, fashion designers, etc. in attendance were enough to get you excited the minute you stepped in the door. KYBOE! is one of the top brands I have worked with. The watch they sent to me is stunning and I have been wearing it with lots of different outfits.

KYBOE! Rose Gold Reflector Watch

Romper: Charlotte Russe – Sold Out (Similar Here and Here) | Heels: Steve Madden (Similar Here) | Watch: KYBOE! Rose Gold Reflector | Lipstick: Milani Rose Femme

The romper was a great choice since the day turned out to be about 90 degrees and sunny. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky until it rained later on. This romper is thin and catches a lot of the breeze which is great for when you’re standing around outside. The heels are a nude and gold Steve Madden that I absolutely love! I got them for my graduation a few years ago and have been wearing them to many occasions since. They matched the KYBOE! Rose Gold Reflector watch well.

I went easy on the accessories because of both the pattern in the romper and because I was trying to showcase the watch! The pearls give the overall outfit a classy touch. Rose Femme lipstick matched the flowers and light pink velvet choker perfectly. The chokers are one of my favorite accessories right now.

I look forward to attending more events in the future and to working with KYBOE! again. With watches like this, I guarantee you will have a new favorite. It’s the perfect size because (like they say at KYBOE!) ‘Bigger Is Better’.

If you are planning on attending an event at Moynihan Station, there are some key spots for great photos! Luckily, we had a beautifully hot and sunny day in NYC so the lighting was right on. The steps out front have several areas that are simple and have character for a great photo background then Times Square is just a few blocks away.
