Oh, what a night! Welcome back to the New England Patriots who made a killer entrance after facing “Deflategate” accusations for months. It looks like our team hasn’t been too shaken from the blows their way (typical New Englanders). After a great win over the Steelers, I want to take a minute to acknowledge the dedicated fans who were in attendance.
Springfield Symphony Orchestra plays it’s beautiful music, fireworks are exploding over the stadium, and the entrance line is backed up for over an hour. Welcome to Opening Night at Gillette Stadium! The cold, wet rainstorm had no impact on the tens of thousands of Patriots fans who were ready for some football.
I was working with Panini Trading Cards passing out free game-day sticker books and promo swag to fans before the game. I’ve never met more friendly tailgaters than our New England crowd! The rain couldn’t stop the fans, so it didn’t stop us from preparing for the big game. Here is a photo (before the downpours) with the Panini Sprinter:
