This weekend was full of last-minute promotions and weekend shenanigans. I worked for Scream Queens and American Heroes Channel at two exciting events!
FRIDAY – BC vs. FSU Football, American Heroes Channel (AHC)
Boston College has quite the fan base at their football games. I had never been to one until I worked the promotion for the game on Friday night! We were right inside of the stadium passing out red bandannas and eye black stickers (branded with the BC logo, of course).
The red bandanna was a dedication to Welles Crowther who risked his life to save others. To learn more about Welles watch the AHC Hero Moment.
FSU won the game and we had a great time interacting with all of the fans. Whenever I can work at a college, meeting with students, I take the opportunity because I am a student myself.
SATURDAY – Scream Queens FOX Premier
Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Nick Jonas, and others are starring in the new horror show Scream Queens on FOX. The premier is Tuesday (9/22) at 8PM. The show is based around a group of sorority sisters in Kappa Kappa Tau, KKT (as you can see in the photos below).
There has been a lot of hype about the show and I was excited to promote it around Boston on Saturday afternoon. We had a lot of feedback and hungry/hot customers who wanted the free ice cream pops… because who wouldn’t want ice cream from a group of back-stabbing KKT sorority girls? 😉
Despite the melting ice cream, broken umbrella, and occasional over-frightened customer the day turned out to be a humorous success.
