Setting Goals Together!

Hey, Everyone.

I am here to share my NEW and improved outlook on just about everything. Sometimes you need to change your mindset and daily routine to see change. I have some pointers on how to identify yours too, but let me tell you… it takes some work.

One morning (today) I woke up and decided this WILL be the day I make a change. I sat down and wrote a list of the goals I want to achieve by the end of this month, this year, and in the future. My goals were decided on by some of the main areas in my life right now: Academics, Fitness, and Work.

With the improvements I have set for myself including a strict nutrition plan, extended organization skills, and money saving techniques, I can already see the finish line. I have come to realize that success does not come easy, but it is worth the time put in.

TODAY I signed up for a monthly Spin Membership at one of my all-time favorite “Sweat Studios.” I will be pushing the bar by making myself get up to work out before class. I have always found time constraints later in the day, so by going outside of my normal routine I am finding the time I never had before.

In addition, I am following my favorite Tone It Up (TIU) Nutrition Plan. I have had great success with their 7-Day Slim Down and 5-Day Slim Down for events in the past, so I am officially diving into their complete nutrition plan.

SO, let’s get down to it. I know you have what it takes to achieve the goals you have been longing to reach!

Grab a pen and paper. Write down a list of everything you want to accomplish in order of preference. Once this is done, put everything you have written down into categories (fitness, beauty, health, etc.) and set a desired time frame you wish to achieve each goal. Then, write down a few ways you can accomplish each of your desired goals.

Be realistic, but bold with your expectations. Setting yourself a year to complete a goal that could take 6-months is underestimating your abilities. BE CONFIDENT!

Finding a friend with similar goals can be great motivation and help you to cross the finish line faster. Maybe they want to start their own goal sheet? Start inspiring others and you will feel much more confident.

Set yourself reminders and put your goal sheet somewhere that you will remember. None of these goals should be forgotten. There is always room for modifications, but try to complete the list and add as you go.I recommend keeping a personal journal or diary to track everything, add, and evolve over the year!
