adidas is a brand that I have worn for as long as a can remember. From track jackets to sweats to stylish running swag I have a collection of adidas products in my drawers. It has been a while since I picked up a new pair of sneaks and I think I have found the ones.
If you’ve ever checked out my social media pics you probably know that I do not religiously wear the same pair of shoes because I am a crazy outfit coordinator, even when I’m running. That’s why I love finding neutral colors in unique styles.
The UltraBOOST X fits like a sock. They are extremely comfortable. I put these on and love the snug fit of of the shoe on your foot. The sneaker has what is called a ‘Primeknit’ texture that wraps around the foot for enhanced support and ultralight comfort. I wore these running on Easter Sunday and they didn’t bother my shin splints which was incredible! (I don’t find many that ease the pressure from each stride on my shins). The boost cushioning is adidas most responsive cushioning to date. The shoe feels really stable when it’s on and doesn’t bother the skin around the ankles.
The more energy you give, the more you get
Now for the good stuff… I wear black leggings at least 2-3 days per week. They are a definite staple in my wardrobe. These leggings are the adidas Supernova Tko Long Tights in black. The knee has a gray stripe detail that compliments the shoe and makes them unique to all of my other pairs. I would say the thickness is perfect for the spring/early summer. They fall just above the heel making them perfect for shorties like me!
The top runs a tad big so I would suggest getting a size smaller than you would normally buy. The material is really light, soft, and comfortable. It brushes the skin and feels cool when the temps get hot. The light blue tone of the shirt is a perfect choice for the spring, but there are other colors in the online store. I wore an adidas black sports bra underneath. This outfit is so perfect for the gym or a quick 5K.
