Shop, Sip, & Sail Away at Cambridgeside

Wow. That is the only word to describe the weather yesterday, May 17. It was absolutely gorgeous here in Boston! The breeze was blowing, runners were all around the Charles, the ships were sailing, and I was running around the Cambridgeside with a handful of other bloggers and influencers from the Boston area. The organizers of this event really put together a spectacular event for us and chose the ideal day to do so. We finally escaped the rainy, cold weather and were able to hit the water in 70+ degree temps.

If you haven’t been to the Cambridgeside, you will definitely want to check it out once it is completely renovated. The mall is three floors and is full of different stores; there is something for everyone. I had the opportunity to speak to some of the store managers who were participating in the event and they were fantastic! There is certainly a buzz around the revamping of this mall. This was my first time at the Cambridgeside and, despite the construction everywhere, I can tell it is going to be very nice.

Onto the event itself…

First, we were given a scavenger hunt on which we visited stores to enjoy light bites, refreshments, giveaways, coupons, try-ons and more. We covered the entire mall! The participating stores had some sweet goodies laid out for us which I have pictures of below:

Next, we met out back to set sail as a group. If you walk through the food court and out the back doors there is a cute area with a big fountain and the Charles River Boat Cruises to sail into the harbor. The Boston Harbor is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t get enough of the skyline. Riding the boat cruise around the Charles was a lot of fun and gave me the opportunity to meet other influencers and learn about their sites/adventures. The boat is adorable and is perfect for family outings or small gatherings with friends! It rides so smooth that you don’t have to fear getting sick.

The organizers greeted us with goodie bags, sushi from P.F.Changs, jewelry from Aldo, and a variety of bubbling beverages to cheers on our cruise around town. They did a wonderful job setting everything up for us and making it such a warming environment.
