Because Life Is Good and we should think positive thoughts!
Today’s post is sponsored by a company founded on positive thinking, perseverance, and spreading the love. Life Is Good donates 10% of their net profits to children’s initiatives and empowers communities from all around to think more positively. My Initial Thoughts
Being the type to balance a million things at once, I always feel like I am under pressure. It’s nobody else’s fault but mine and mine alone. The Type A personality in me leads to crazy high expectations and just about no room for failure. I never fully understood why people were so fascinated with the idea of ‘positive thinking’ and truly thought it was something you were born with… I was wrong. We can all become more positive thinkers if we actually dedicate time to changing our perception! You Can Be More Positive!
Life gets stressful and little things get in your way but, overall, Life Is Good. Life is really freaking good! You can do anything you set your mind to. This is how I overcame the stress is my life and started to pursue opportunities that simply made me happy.Life is Good Co-Founders Bert and John Jacobs got their start selling t-shirts down the East Coast with little money and a BIG dream. They designed their first “Life is Good” t-shirt in an effort to combat negative news and, very quickly, they started an important conversation. Their story is nothing short of inspiring. It shows the impact visionaries can have on their communities. Shortly after the “Life is Good” t-shirt became popular they put together designs sharing the everyday things people should celebrate… in other words, the things that make people happier.“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results” ~ Willie Nelson
Positive Thinking Day
September 13 | Positive Thinking Day is a movement encouraging you to put more positivity in the world, one post at a time. This is something I feel we should all do and that I try hard to incorporate into my daily shares with all of you! I’d love for you to share a positive message with your friends & followers across social throughout the month of September and to encourage them to share the message with their connections as well <3 The team at Life is Good is sharing results from their National Optimism and Positivity Index, a nationwide survey that aimed to measure how optimistic (or pessimistic… ick) people are in their day-to-day lives. The results might surprise you. Did you know we 18-29 year olds are less likely to be optimistic than those older than us? Because people who use social media 10+ hours a day are more likely to be pessimistic than those who use it less (say what?!). We need to use social media as a tool for empowering one-another and spreading a positive message.Read more on the Positive Thought Campaign
