Because Life Is Good and we should appreciate the world around us!
Today’s post is sponsored by a company founded on positive thinking, perseverance, and spreading the love. Life Is Good donates 10% of their net profits to children’s initiatives and empowers communities from all around to think more positively.
One thing many of us take for granted is the beautiful world around us. Nature, at its very core. I have always loved going out for a run or walk and breathing in the fresh air. I am partnering with Life Is Good to encourage you and everyone in your circle to take it outside more often.
(Pssst, from now until Oct. 22, Life Is Good is giving away the trip of a lifetime to one lucky winner. Their campaign, Take It Outside, has all the details on how you can win).
Technology sometimes leaves us in a zone of distraction. Even when we are outdoors, we are not fully appreciative of the sights and sounds around us. These are the most important observances you will make while spending time in the wild.
Take It Outside Tips:
- Try to be hands-free (aka apart from your phone)
- Look around and take note of what piques your interest
- Listen and learn about the area you are in
- Bring lots of water to stay refreshed
- Take it outside 30 to 60 minutes at a time
- Allow your mind to wander and forget about stresses for a while
I never thought much about it until recently. I was out running and paying close attention to my surroundings. I started picking up small things about where I was and what I was seeing. All of my senses kicked in and curiosity peaked.
At the end of that run I felt refreshed, fulfilled, and encouraged to go out again sooner than later. When you take it outside, you open the door to discovery!
When you take it outside you are reminded of the simple things. Nature is full of unique history and surprises. It costs exactly zero dollars and zero cents and can result in a positive boost for you.
Nature For The Soul
- Being outside can help you find clarity
- Your mood may become more positive, energized, and less stressed
- Nature makes you more curious and humbled
- Walking & running outdoors is great for your health
- You will allow yourself time for thought and ideas
The Life Is Good line of tees and other merchandise are my favorite because they encourage positivity, connecting with nature, and overall good vibes. There are so many styles and colors available so anyone can find what they are looking for.
So, while you’re at it, check out Life Is Good’s ‘Take It Outside’ campaign and get inspired to spend as much time in the great outdoors as you can.
