Today’s blog is dedicated to all of you whom I preach to every week about self-confidence, being your best self, taking risks, and stepping out of your comfort zone. That’s right, I’m doing something a bit outside of my own comfort zone this coming weekend to pursue a goal of mine.
THE BIG NEWS…
This coming weekend I will be competing for the title of Miss Massachusetts USA 2019 alongside a stage of other women from across the state. I never understand the pageant world until I decided to jump in head first and boy I am learning so much about the hard work and dedication it takes to win.
I have been working out, eating healthy, and boosting my own personal confidence by taking small steps to break through my fears every day. It is all part of the process towards becoming your best self! It is the message I always aim to share with you and one I 100% believe in for my own life.
WHAT GIVES…
My bucket list is pretty long. There are many goals I hope to achieve over the next 5, 10, 20+ years. This is one of the big items on my short-term goals list. It is also one of the most difficult, exciting, and (of course) nerve-wracking. My intention is to give it my all and have fun!
Having fun, smiling, and putting yourself out there shows that you are confident. I’m not saying you have to enter a pageant to achieve this goal. I am simply sending you a signal to identify your passions and chase after them, no matter what they might be.
Like the great Wayne Gretzky said, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take“
The People’s Choice Award is officially live on the Miss Massachusetts site. You can vote me into the Top 15 by donating as low as $1.00 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an incredible and life-changing organization. I appreciate all of your support!
