A Short & Sweet Stay at Southbridge Napa Valley

We were hosted by Southbridge Napa Valley during our stay.
All opinions and photographs are my own.

Having never gone to California’s wine country before, I did a lot of research on where it would be best to stay. Though Downtown Napa had its appeal, my mindset was in a more quiet place.

I wanted to stay somewhere close to activities, dining, and wineries while still experiencing a wine country charm. When I found Southbridge Napa Valley, I knew it was a perfect fit!

The Stay at Southbridge

Southbridge is located on Main Street in the historic St. Helena. Tucked back from the street, the rooms are so peaceful. For any of you soon-to-be newlyweds or couples, this would be the perfect spot for a Napa Valley honeymoon or anniversary. Paul and I didn’t hear a peep from any of our hotel neighbors and truly appreciated the hospitality.

All of the employees were so friendly and helpful with many suggestions on where we to explore. We utilized the Health Spa Napa Valley next door for several different services as well as the restaurant downstairs.

And that room… oh, the room. This was hands-down one of my favorite hotel rooms ever. No exaggeration. It was like living in your own condo but better. Our room had so much space for all of our things + gave us plenty of room to feel comfortable without being cramped (the worst).

A few things I loved:

1 | Balcony overlooking the winery next door
2 | The desk where you could get work done
3 | King bed that was so comfortable
4 | Giant, relaxing shower that felt like you were at the spa
5 | All of the space to spread out and feel comfortable

Bright and open, the room itself looked brand new. I have always been one to lean towards boutique hotels for their unique experiences. Southbridge is an example of why I always do.

St. Helena has a quaint and charming downtown within walking distance of shopping, dining (right next to the OG Gotts Roadside), and plenty of notable wineries like Louis Martini, Duckhorn, and Charles Krug

An easy commute from Downtown Napa, St. Helena is a short 25-minute drive. Just another reason to bring a car along for the trip! You can read my last post to learn more about our experience HERE.
