Oh, Boston… so full of places to eat, things to see and spots for shopping. With so many places to explore, we are always up to try something new. Dining Playbook reached out about having us on an episode and I was all for it! They invited us to visit 110 Grill’s latest location in South Bay for a dinner with friends (plus the unexpected possibility of us seeing our faces on NESN in the coming episode). It was a blast!
Despite the many in our area, this was my first time dining at a 110 Grill location. We were not disappointed with the food or atmosphere. Paul ordered the swordfish and I ordered the salmon – clearly seafood lovers over here. With a chill glass of white wine, I indulged in my meal to the point where I had no room for dessert… this was the only disappointing part of my night because it looked SO good.
Speaking of la vino…I was very impressed by their wine list which boasts 50+ options for those who want a good pairing. There is a heavy selection of reds, whites, rose and bubbly to choose from. I ordered the Marlborough, New Zealand Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc because I was in the mood for something fruity. I will say, at such a low price point, this wine really never disappoints.
About 110 Grill
I can only speak first-hand to the South Bay location but have heard great things about all of the Massachusetts 110 Grill’s. Their atmosphere is upscale-casual so you can pretty much feel comfortable popping in at any time. It’s great for a date night, drinks with friends or just a quick bite after a day out.
It’s no surprise that 110 Grill is the fastest-growing restaurant chain in the Northeast. They have new locations popping up all over the place.
Allergy-Friendly
Sitting across from Samantha of @glutenfreereality opened our eyes to the allergy-friendly options 110 Grill served. All of their fried foods, amongst many others on the menu, are made to be gluten-free. 100% of their menu can be made gluten-free so everyone gets to make a choice from more than one option!
They were ranked Top Ten Allergy-Friendly Restaurant Chain in 2018 and 2019 by Allergy Eats. At some point, I hope more restaurants move in this direction because it’s good for business and for those with needs it serves.
Where to Find Them
You can find the full location list HERE. Look out for their newest Massachusetts locations opening in Wrentham, Hadley and Millbury and their New York restaurants in Latham and Poughkeepsie.
** Thank you to Dining Playbook, Billy Costa and Jenny Johnson for having us as a part of this segment. We had a wonderful time making new friends and enjoying all of the bites put in front of us!
