Pageant Prep
Pageant prep, as some of you may know, is a whirlwind. You have to focus on the visuals like your hair, makeup, and wardrobe as well as your eloquence in answering interview questions. But none of that is the most important thing to be mindful of. You know what is? Your mental game.

But, today I want to talk about Milani and how their collections are true to my heart. I have been using the brand since I learned how to do my makeup back in middle school and never parted with it. Their lipliners and lipsticks are number one on my list and always in my makeup bag.

Self-Confidence
I think being self-confident is the most important aspect of competing for anything. You might have all the talent in the world but if you are unsure of yourself it will show. Take all of the positives thoughts and feelings you have about yourself, write them down, look at them every day and learn to recognize them in your perspective of self.

You definitely do not need makeup to feel confident. I only wear Milani’s mascara and lipstick on an average day. But, enhancing your beauty with products that champion your self-worth can feel incredible. Choose colors that make you feel BOLD and have you ready to take on the day.
I did all of my makeup for my pageant headshot using the Milani collection and (not to toot my own horn) it looked phenomenal. Everything feels great on your skin, doesn’t cake, and has a strong color palette. I will be taking most of it with me to pageant weekend to stay on my beauty A-game!
