Motivation is something that comes from within. It may be easier for some people to tap into than others and that’s completely normal. If I didn’t go out of my way to FIND motivation then I would struggle to get as much done as I do.
1 | Stay Fueled
Fueling with the best products will keep your mind and body going. I always reach for a ONE Bar when I need a pick-me-up meal or snack. 2 | Keep a Routine
The worst thing you can do is take things day-by-day; especially with the state of our society right now. In a way we have to and I get that but YOU control your routine. Set your alarm, plan your meals, and write out a to-do list. Having a routine will help you to stay accountable and, let’s be real, checking boxes is very satisfying.
3 | Find Your Jams
Music is everything. Whether I’m running ten miles, sitting back to answer emails, or need an escape right here and now, music can get me in the groove. The ‘Motivation Mix’ and ‘Cleaning Kit’ stations on Spotify are two that always keep me focused.
4 | Bust a Move
While dancing may not be your go-to workout, busting any moves can immediately perk you up. Head outside for a run or walk, roll out the mat for some midday yoga, take a few minutes to stretch, or find another form of exercise that brings you back to center. Releasing endorphins can make you happier and help you maintain focus.
5 | Give It a Rest
We’re not talking about giving up, no. Let yourself get enough sleep! A few months ago I noticed my sleep patterns were all over the place. I was sleeping for four hours some nights and ten others. Staying well-rested and consistent with the hours of shuteye you get each night feels so much better than winging it.
